Peter Brent

Peter’s mix of b2b marketing and sales experience have been fully utilised in the last year as his projects have ranged from a market entry study for a Nordic based electronics manufacturing company, co-authoring a report into the European EMS market with Reed Electronics Research, and completing a recently published qualitative research study entitled ‘What constitutes successful sales behaviour?’ Peter is currently developing programmes based on the JUMS2 process– Joined up Marketing, Sales and Service which takes successful strategy through to optimised and aligned implementation.

Prior to co-founding MBC, in a career spanning over 30 years with international blue chip companies including Kodak, Letraset, WR Grace and Emerson & Cuming (Part of National Starch & Chemical (ICI)), Peter has operated in high growth divisions using all the techniques and skills to rapidly grow business in either the 'Start Up', 'Growth' or 'Mature' phases of the product life cycle. He understands from his own experience the challenges of developing marketing strategy through to operational marketing plans whilst working across functions, countries and cultures.

Peter is currently the Chair of the Thames Valley branch of the Chartered Institute of Marketing of which he is also a Fellow and believes in an active commitment to lifelong personal development as a Chartered Marketer.
